Amy Milne | Corporate Event Strategist & Experience Architect
Amy Milne has never been one for boring boardrooms or cookie-cutter conferences. With over two decades of experience in corporate events, hospitality, fundraising event creation, and destination management, she’s built a career out of making meetings, retreats, and experiences effortless,
engaging, and—dare we say—fun.

As the founder of Meetings Made Simple, Amy helps teams escape the daily grind with seamless corporate retreats and meetings in Blue Mountains – South Georgian Bay. Whether it’s securing the perfect venue, crafting immersive team-building activities, or ensuring the Wi-Fi actually
works (because, let’s be real, that matters), she handles the details so her clients don’t have to.

Before launching her own ventures, Amy led game-changing fundraising events for some of Canada’s largest charities. At SickKids Foundation, she created and led the Signature Events department, launching innovative experiences like The Great Camp Adventure and Scrubs in the City. She also played a key role in logistics for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer and the Ride to Conquer Cancer internationally, helping expand their reach and impact.

Amy doesn’t just plan events—she talks about them too. As the host of Real Talk for the Non-Profit Event Pro, she dives into real, unfiltered conversations about the industry, helping event pros level up their game.
She believes every meeting should have a clear purpose, every retreat should foster real connections, and every event—no matter the size—should leave a lasting impression. When she’s not orchestrating unforgettable events, she’s hunting down the best local eats, dreaming up unique experiences, or
shaking up the industry one event at a time.

Let’s make meetings simple—and extraordinary.

Lisa | Project Manager & Chief Wordsmith

Lisa’s career path has been anything but predictable—starting in banking, taking a left turn into non-profit event planning, and meandering through the world of marketing & communications. Now, as Project Manager and Chief Wordsmith at Meetings Made Simple, she’s the go-to for flawless logistics and perfectly crafted copy. Whether she’s fine-tuning an event plan or turning rough ideas into polished prose, Lisa has a knack for making things flow—both on paper and behind the scenes.

When she’s not wrangling words and event details, Lisa is coaching women on their health esteem journey, helping them crush their fitness & nutrition goals. She loves staying active outdoors with her husband and two kids, testing her limits with sauna and cold plunge sessions, and winding down with a hot cup of tea, a great podcast, or a challenging puzzle. And if there’s a game on? You bet she’s watching.

Need someone who can juggle logistics, craft the perfect message, and keep everything running smoothly? Lisa’s got it covered.

As an Event Coordinator at Meetings Made Simple, she’s the one making sure every detail is handled, every timeline stays on track, and every event runs like a dream (because let’s be honest, flawless events don’t just happen—they have Flor!).

She doesn’t sit still for long. When she’s not keeping events running smoothly, you’ll find her orchestrating weddings, hand-pouring candles for local farmers & markets, or training to beat her personal best running time. A true adventure-seeker, Flor loves getting lost in a great book, planning her
next trip, and soaking up downtime with her husband and their three adorable dogs—Manchas, Bella, and Taco (yes, Taco!).

Need someone to make event magic happen? Flor’s got you covered.
